Cottrell, Inc. (Cottrell) is recalling certain 2019-2022 2-Car Carrier vehicles. Four side-rear reflex reflectors are missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamp, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: Missing reflex reflectors reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Cottrell will provide a reflex reflector kit, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 2, 2022. Owners may contact Cottrell customer service at 1-866-299-2690. Cottrell's number for this recall is 2021 2-Car Reflector.
