WE RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2011 KIA SORENTO FRONT WHEEL DRIVE EX WITH THE V-6 MOTOR AND IT HAS EXTREME PULL TO THE RIGHT UPON ACCELERATION. THE DEALER SERVICE MANAGER SAID IT IS JUST TOO MUCH HORSEPOWER FOR THE VEHICLE. HE ALSO SHARED THAT THIS HAS BEEN A COMPLAINT WITH THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE SINCE IT'S INTRODUCTION IN JANUARY 2010. WE HAVE OWNED OTHER FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES WITH SIMILAR HORSEPOWER AND NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS SUDDEN JERK TO THE RIGHT WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP OR WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS DOWN ON LEVEL GROUND OR UP A GRADUAL INCLINE. EXTREME CAUTION MUST BE USED OR IT FEELS LIKE IT COULD JERK THE STEERING WHEEL FROM YOUR GRASP AND VEER TO THE RIGHT. A SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE MUST BE FOUND OR IT COULD LEAD TO POSSIBLE ACCIDENTS. THIS IS A NEW GENERATION VEHICLE AND KIA MAY BE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM ALREADY, BUT THE DEALERS SOLUTION WAS TO USE SLOWER ACCELERATION RATES, SOMETHING THAT ISN'T ALWAYS POSSIBLE OR THE SAFEST IN FREEWAY DRIVING CONDITIONS. WE APPRECIATE ANY ATTENTION YOU MAY BE ABLE TO DEVOTE TO THIS ISSUE IN THE FORM OF CONSUMER AND MANUFACTURER AWARENESS. THANK YOU! *TR
