MY 2007 PT CRUISER HAS HAD A VIBRATION FOR TWO YEARS IN THE ENGINE. IT IS OK IN PARK, BUT WHEN IN DRIVE AND IDLE THE CAR VIBRATES HORRIBLY. IT IS WORSE WITH THE A/C RUNNING AND I LIVE IN AZ. NO ONE CAN FIX IT. I'VE REPLACED THE MOTOR MOUNTS IN 2011AND HAD EVERYTHIG ADJUSTED. I HAVE REPLACED THE MAIN MOTOR MOUNT AGAIN IN 2012 AS IT WAS CRUSHED AGAIN, BUT THE VIBRATION CONTINUES. I SPENT $1500 TO REPLACE THE LAST MOTOR MOUNT INADDITION TO THE PREVIOUS YEARS COST OF REPLACEMENT. I'VE DONE TUNE UPS, REPLACED BELTS, FLUID FLUSHES, OIL CHANGES ALL FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES. I'VE BEEN TOLD REPEATEDLY THAT THE PT CRUISER JUST HAS THIS VIBRATION AND NO ONE CAN FIX IT. IT'S THE CAR. ALL THE MECHANICS HATE THIS CAR. I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON THIS CAR SINCE I BOUGHT IT AND DUE TO INCOME, I CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO DO THE REPAIR WORK FOR A PROBLEM THAT NEVER GETS FIXED. THIS CAR IS A PIECE OF CRAP AND I WILL NEVER BUY A CHRYSLER PRODUCT AGAIN. THEY COULDN'T PAY ME TO GET ONE. *TR

I HAVE HAD MY 2007 PT CRUISER TO THE DEALER FOR A VIBRATION IN THE ENGINE. THEY OF COURSE HEARD NOTHING AND RECOMMENDED A TUNE UP WHICH I HAD HAD DONE THE PREVIOUS MONTH. I TOOK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND HAD TO HAVE THE MOTOR MOUNTS AND TRANSMISSION MOUNT REPLACED. I HAD THE TIMING BELT REPLACED AS THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE ENGINE AT THIS TIME AND TRIED TO SAVE MONEY. THE MECHANIC ADJUSTED EVERYTHING TO THE CORRECT SPECIFICATIONS AND THE VIBRATION CONTINUES TO THIS DAY. *TR
A/C NOT COOLING. FAN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *TR
THE AIRBAG LIGHT AND CHIMES WOULD COME ON WHENEVER A PASSENGER WOULD SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. CODES B1B56 AND B1B54 CAME UP. THE SEATBELT BUCKLE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED FOR $267. *TR
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON AND CODE PO456 WAS ON. I HAD TO REPLACE THE GAS CAP AS THERE WAS A LEAK. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE GAS CAP TWO TIMES BECAUSE OF LEAKS. *TR
AT IDLE MY 2007 PT CRUISER HAD A CHIRPING NOISE. THE SERPENTINE AND ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELTS HAD TO BE REPLACED. AS WELL AS THE POWER STEERING PUMP. *TR
I HAD MY 2007 PT CRUISER FOR 6 MONTHS AND THE HORN WOULD STICK AND NOT TURN OFF. THE STEERING WHEEL AND AIRBAG WERE DEFECTIVE AND REPLACED. MY FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS ALSO HAD TO BE REPLACED AT THIS TIME. *TR
CAME OUT ONE DAY AND THE LEFT FRONT TURN SIGNAL WAS GLOWING. WILL NOT BLINK OR TURN OFF EVEN WITH THE ENGINE OFF. ALL OTHERS WORK FINE, BUT THE LEFT REAR BLANKS A LITTLE FASTER. I HAVE CHANGED: BULBS, FUSES, SOCKETS ON THIS LEFT FRONT, BUT DID NOT WORK. *TR
DURING A SUMMER STORM SEVERAL YEARS AGO WITH CHANGES IN PRESSURE MY WINDSHIELD CRACKED FROM THE SEAM ABOUT 4 TO 5 INCHES OUT FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A DRIVE WAY. THERE IS NO DAMAGE AS THOUGH IT WAS HIT. IT WAS SIMPLY PARKED ONE NIGHT AND THE CRACK WAS VISIBLE THE NEXT DAY. SINCE THEN, IT IS ALMOST 3/4 …

SINCE THEN, IT IS ALMOST 3/4 OF THE WAY TO THE DRIVER SIDE RIGHT AT EYE LEVEL. THERE IS NOW A SECOND CRACK FOLLOWING ANOTHER STORM WITH PRESSURE CHANGES, STARTING AT THE SEAM AS WELL JUST ABOVE THE REAR VIEW MIRROR THAT GOES DOWN 2 TO 3 INCHES AND THEN GOES TO THE PASSENGER SIDE APPROXIMATELY 4 TO 5 INCHES. I HAVE CONTACTED CHRYSLER AND THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS COULD BE A MANUFACTURING ISSUE ALTHOUGH RESEARCH SHOWS PREVIOUS RECALLS ON PT CRUISER WINDSHIELDS FOR THE SAME REASON OF IMPROPER INSTALLATION. *TR
