TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER ASPEN 4X4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REVERSE ALERT SENSOR ONLY ACTIVATED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS APPROXIMATELY SIXTEEN INCHES AWAY FROM AN OBJECT. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE REAR PARK ASSIST SYSTEM WAS WORKING PROPERLY BY ALERTING THE CONTACT AT SIXTEEN INCHES AWAY. THE CONTACT FEARED THAT THE ALARM WILL NOT ALERT HER IN TIME AND, BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS HIGHER FROM THE GROUND. SHE MAY NOT SEE PEOPLE OR OBJECTS IN TIME WHEN DRIVING IN REVERSE.
