I’ve had my 2025 Chevy tracks for less than a year at first having issues in January 2025. I was driving back from my son‘s birthday party and the entire dash just went black. I could not see the mile per hour I was going and I could not see my radio my entire front dash just blacked out for almost a minute. I was driving at the speed of 70 miles an hour when this occurred putting myself and others at risk I was able to pull over on the side of the highway to see the issue going on with my vehicle. I turned off my vehicle and turned it back on thank you. Maybe that would resolve the issue, but it clearly didn’t. I contact GM. I contact the dealership Dutch Miller and explain to them the issue that did did occur. I took it into a shop. The dealership looked at it. They updated it the system in my car. Which I thought that resolved the issue for a few months and now I’m back to the dash going black when I’m driving, took it back to the dealership again and they said that they couldn’t find any issues and we just gotta wait until a recall occurs with GM. Been contacting General motors about this issue. This is a safety hazard and extremely dangerous when you’re going speed limit at high speed and you cannot see anything on your dash it is terrifying and scary especially when you have your family in the car. Hopefully GM gets this fixed. It’s a brand new car should not have any issues.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The vehicle’s rear structure and frame were compromised. After a low-speed rear-end collision (approximately 5 mph), the frame bent, and the vehicle was declared a total loss by the insurance company. The car is no longer available for inspection as it has been taken by insurance, but documentation including photos, insurance reports, and repair estimates is available upon request. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The fact that the frame sustained significant damage in such a low-speed collision raises concerns about the overall durability and crashworthiness of the vehicle. This could indicate that the vehicle might not provide adequate protection in more severe collisions, putting occupants at risk in real-world driving conditions. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes, the damage was confirmed by the insurance adjuster and an independent collision repair shop, both of whom concluded that the vehicle’s frame was bent. The repair facility stated that the vehicle could not be repaired due to the extent and nature of the frame damage. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Yes, the vehicle was inspected by an insurance adjuster and an independent body shop. The manufacturer has not inspected the vehicle, and police were not involved as it was a minor collision without injuries. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No, there were no warning lamps or messages prior to the incident. The issue only became apparent after the vehicle was rear-ended, at which point the structural damage was assessed.

The contact owned a 2025 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH with cruise control mode disengaged, and approaching the red traffic light, the brake pedal was depressed. The contact stated that the vehicle responded temporarily, and then the vehicle accelerated unintendedly. There was no warning light illuminated. The backup camera becomes a "fishbowl" along with inability to use radio features. Happens often. There are numerous forum topics via Facebook and Reddit about it happening. Dealership is no help.

When driving, the sun reflects off of the chrome like a laser/mirror, impacting the visibility and safety of the driver. I am looking into ways to "black out" the chrome, but it truly is a safety hazard! Chevrolet should provide a "chrome delete" kit and keep chrome on the EXTERIOR, not on the INTERIOR.

I am very unsure what is going on, but when I am in reverse my whole dash loudly rattles and vibrates the whole car. My front door speakers also keep going out with makes me think we may have a wiring issue.

Was making right hand turn which causes vehicle to straddle shoulder for a brief period of time because of how lines are painted. Auto steering resisted the manual steering to get into the lane properly and pulled vehicle onto shoulder further which lead vehicle to be pulled into the ditch.

Unknown. The OEM wipers have a large streak in the main field of vision on the drivers side. They only last a FEW weeks with new OEM parts. I’ve tried getting aftermarket replacement s and they don’t fit properly.
