THERE IS A DELAYED ACTION IN THE ABS SYSTEM. THE PEDAL GOES PARTIALLY TO THE FLOOR. VEHICLE GOES IN A FREE WHEEL BEFORE ABS BRAKES ENGAGE. THIS HAS HAPPENE DEVEN ON DRY GROUND IF THE VEHICLE HITS ANY DEFECT IN THE ROAD, CAUSING THE WHEEL TO SKIP AND ACTIVATING THE ABS SYSTEM. VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION DUE TO ABS FAILURE.
