CAM LIFTERS GOING BAD ON 2010 CHEVY (SUBURBAN). WAS NOTICING ON INTERNET SEVERAL VEHICLES BETWEEN THE YEAR 2010-2013 HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS. STARTED OFF AS THE STABILITY TRACKING WHICH I SHELLED OUT $700 TO THE DEALER. CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO THE DEALER TO FIND OUT IT WAS CAM LIFTER AND THE BILL WAS GOING TO BE $5,000. CHEVY ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR IS A PROBLEM AND WAS ONLY WILLING TO PAY 70% OF THE BILL. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR A RECALL ON THIS PART BY CHEVROLET IF IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY PARTIAL. IT WAS TOO DANGEROUS FOR A FAMILY TO BE DRIVING AND THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER CAUSING IT TO SLOW AND JERK. GOD FORBID THIS HAPPENS TO SOMEONE ON THE FREEWAY AND THEY ARE REAR ENDED CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES OR FATALITY.
