ON JULY 26 2005, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A SERVICE DEALER DUE TO THE ENGINE MISFIRING, AND INJECTOR ISSUES. THE DEALER REMOVED AND CLEANED T…

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED A NHTSA RECALL LETTER # 05V155000 , PERTAINING TO THE FUEL PUMP, WAS RECEIVED. A SERVICE DEALER WAS CONTACTED, WHO STATED THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE AT THE TIME. ON JULY 26 2005, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A SERVICE DEALER DUE TO THE ENGINE MISFIRING, AND INJECTOR ISSUES. THE DEALER REMOVED AND CLEANED THE FUEL TANK, REPLACED THE FUEL MODULATOR, THE NUMBER 2 AND NUMBER 7 INJECTORS, VAPOR CANISTER, VENT SOLENOID, FUEL FILTER, AND CLEANED THE FUEL RAIL LINES. THE REPAIR WAS BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE MANUFACTURER, WHO STATED THAT THE CONTACT WAS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO RECEIVE RECALL NOTICES FOR THIS ISSUE TO THE PRESENT DAY.
