The contact stated that a month after the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V390000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); the contact became aware that the brake motor was constantly engaged. The contact stated that upon disconnecting the brake pressure switch, it was discovered that the brake switch connector was covered with brake fluid. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact the recall remedy only involved the replacement of the brake pressure switch wiring harness, and the brake switch replacement was not covered. The contact was referred to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was referred to the dealer for additional assistance. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was confirmed that the brake switch replacement was not covered by the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was called back and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The contact stated that the recall remedy had fail to correct the failure.
