Due to the Fuel Pump Power Control Module (Part number 13554821) failure, my vehicle stalled in the middle of a turn while pulling a 10,000 pound RV. This caused me to lose both power steering and braking capabilities. From what I gather, this part is part of a "phased" initiative recall (see N252516900 Fuel Pump Power Control Module). This part was seemingly installed in all or most of GM SUVs and Trucks since 2021. Unfortunately, only some 2021-2023 models are under recall due to the "phased" nature of this recall. Meanwhile, all Heavy Duty trucks are driving around on our roadways, highways, and interstates, just like I was, towing heavy machinery, equipment, and RVs because both you and GM are dragging your feet on demanding these flawed modules be removed from these vehicles. In summation, virtually every GM SUV and truck on the road produced since 2021 is a ticking time bomb that could stall at any moment and disable both power steering and braking capability. If thats not bad enough, concerned owners, such as myself, are stonewalled with the words "there is no active recall on your vehicle " both by GM and your very website. The "phased" nature of this recall is unacceptable and is putting lives at risk. Had I been traveling at highway speeds when this failure occurred, while towing a heavy load, with braking traffic in front of me or a sharp turn, I would not have been able to stop or turn. This is an urgent matter and should be addressed accordingly, not in a "phased" manner.

My 2024 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax experienced a forced emissions derate event with a speed-limited countdown. The vehicle suddenly lost normal operating capability and became unsafe and undrivable. The truck was disabled in Enid, Oklahoma and had to be recovered and transported to a dealership. Prior to failure, the vehicle showed abnormal DEF/emissions behavior. The failure involves the SCR/DEF emissions system. I later confirmed this vehicle has a completed Product Emissions Recall for SCR Fault Detection. Despite that recall, the emissions system failed and triggered a derate and loss-of-mobility event. The truck is currently at Classic Chevrolet in Owasso, OK for diagnosis.

The fuel pump inside the tank shorted out and left us stranded. This is the same pump that was used on the the 2022 Duramax systems however they upped the fuel pressure on the 2024 refresh and it has become a known problem of shorting out.

With 19,000 miles on my Silverado 2500 HD I was traveling down a hill towards a stop sign at a T intersection. About 100 yeads from the stop sign I had many flashing errors on the dash, very little brake and very little steering. The engine just shot off. Fortunately I was able to stop the vehicle right at the stop sign while traffic from right and left had no stop sign. The truck would not start after. It did have electrical power. I tow was needed. The next day the Chevy dealer did find a bulletin for a wire in the engine compartment chaffed. Symptoms were the same as what I experienced. Repair was made. Bulletin #24-NA-124. There is no doubt a bulletin should be issued but I believe this is a real safety issue with the engine just randomly shutting off leaving no power to brakes and steering. Had this happened while I was towing our camper I would not have stopped and t boned another vehicle causing damage and no doubt injury to others and myself. If traveling on an interstate at 70 MPH this could have been even worst. This is a known problem and should be a recall and not just a bulletin. Thanks.
