TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500. IN MARCH OF 2007, THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE VALVE STEM FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. ON MARCH 28, 2009, BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR DRIVER'S SIDE VALVE STEMS FAILED LIKE THE ONE IN 2007. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED BY THE TIRE COMPANY THAT THE VALVE STEMS WERE CRACKING, BUT COULD NOT PROVIDE AN EXPLANATION FOR THE FAILURES. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT THE VALVE STEMS ARE FAULTY AND DEFECTIVE AND SHOULD BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 8,500.
