2019 Chevrolet Colorado

COMPONENETS FAILING: Passenger side headlight and blinker keep failing. Driver side running light keeps failing to illuminate. Driver side rear brake lights keep failing. Rear passenger side reverse light and blinker failing to illuminate. SAFETY: I have no way to safely drive in the dark or daylight because the blinkers and headlight are failing to work properly. INSPECTION and CONFIRMATION: The problem keeps reproducing itself about every month or so since purchase, July 4th of 2022. The dealership has attempted to work on the problem four times already. Three times at the same dealership and once at another auto shop. The dealership is the only one that has inspected it. They have been in communication with the engineers on multiple occasions. KNOWN PARTS REPLACED AT THIS TIME: The BCM, wiring harness, fuses, and fuse box have all been replaced since September of 2022 to now, March 7 2023. WARNING MESSAGES RECIEVED: The only warning messages I have gotten are blinker failure, break light failure, head light failure.

It's been a year i bought this 2019 chevy Colorado about having the truck a week i went back to where i bought the truck told the guy that sold me the peace of shit the key gets stuck in the ignition i carry a jump starter with me truck starts when it wants . and when driving on a road that has kid of sharp turn the truck slides like u lose kind of fells like u losing control espial on a rainy wet day it scary to drive the truck

The 7in infotainment system regularly has problems. Most of my problems occur during and after phone calls. When talking, my audio will echo me at a loud volume for a brief second and then cut out for 3-5 seconds. When it comes back the audio will not always be at the volume it was previously. Sometimes louder sometimes very quiet, either way I have no control to change it. This will regularly happen 2-5 times during a 30 min phone call. Usually when I hang up after this happens the problems will persist. Sometimes all audio goes out, sometimes I will lose the ability to control the volume, and sometimes the volume will adjust after a 5-10 second delay. The display will sometimes blackout or reset. These problems are system wide across all audio functions including FM radio, Bluetooth audio, and apple carplay. The only way to correct the issue is to pull over, turn the vehicle off, and open the door.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the temperature gauge would not operate and the engine light would remain illuminated. Also, the transmission had intermittently experienced slipping. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 40,000.

Ignition Key Cannot Be Removed and / or Does Not Rotate to the Off Position. This has been going on for about a year and I have taken it to the dealer 3 times and they are unable to fix the issue. Ignition Key Cannot Be Removed and/ or Does Not Rotate to the Off Position. It started about three weeks ago and has gotten progressively worse. The engine turns off but the vehicle remains energized. Repeat start, gear cycling, steering wheel movement and holding the shifter detent randomly allows the key to be moved to the fully off position and removed. Reference GM bulletin PI1429B. Applies to my 2019 as well. Dealer did no research when I took it in and could not reproduce at time of inspection. Said it was out of warranty and without being able to reproduce, would have to have a tech try to reproduce then diagnose.

As I went around a turn (low speed), the truck lost power steering for about a half of a second. It came back online right away, but caused me to take the turn poorly. At the same time, the engine shut down and all of the lights on the dash went out. I stopped the vehicle, put it in park and restarted the vehicle. Everything then worked as if nothing was wrong. There are not any warning lights. It was as if someone simply turned off the ignition for a minute.
