I AM A FATHER OF 7 KIDS BOUGHT 2 CHEVY VENTURE VANS . ONE IS 2003 ON 06/12 AND 1999 ON 10/13 THE 2003 VEHICLE I WAS DRIVING ME AND MY 7 KIDS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREE WAY AND OUT OF NO WHERE THE VAN START SLOWING THE SPEED FROM 60 MPH TO 30 MPH SUDDENLY OUT OF NO WHERE THE ENGINE START SMOKING AND THE HOLE TRANSMISSION FALL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FWY MY KIDS START SCREAMING AFRAID THEY WE ALL GOING TO DIE. I AM STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY AND WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HILL IS GOING OWN I CALLED THE POLICE AND THE TOWING TRUCK AND TOW MY CAR TO A MECHANIC AND ME AND MY KIDS TOOK A TAXI IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREE WAY AT 10:00PM AT KNIGHT .IN THE MORNING THE MECHANIC CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT HE CANT START THE CAR & SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM & THE STEERING AND THE STARTER & THE TRANSMISSION COMPLETELY BURNS THERE NO WAY TO BE FIX SO MY INSURANCE DID NOT COVER ANY OF DAMAGES .I WAS AT A COMPLETE SHOCK BECAUSE I AM ALWAYS IN A VERY GOOD SHAPE I DO MY OIL CHANGE ON TIME I DO MY BREAKS AND MY TIRES ANY THING THE CAR NEED I DO IT ON TIME .SO ME AND MY WIFE STRUGGLE WITH WALKING 3.6 MILE EVERY DAY TO DROP OUR KIDS TO SCHOOL AFTER 3 MONTHS STRUGGLING WE FINALLY SAVE $4000 WE BOUGHT 1999 CHEVY VENTURE ON 10/18/2012 HAS 91.000 VERY LAW MILE. THEN EVERY THING HAPPEN ON THE 2003 CHEVY WE HAVE WORST ON THE 1999 THE COLENT START ACTING AND WE FIX IT AND START LEAKING AGAIN WE REPLACE IT TO BRAND NEW AND THEN THE CHECK ENGINE START COMING OUT WE THOUGHT IS THE MECHANIC WE CHANGED THE MECHANIC AND WE FLUSH THE WHOLE COLENT SYSTEM AFTER WE REPLACED IT TO BRAND NEW AND WE CHANGE THE OIL THEN THE RIGHT AUTOMATIC DOOR START OPENS WILE WE ARE DRIVING OUR KIDS TO SCHOOL IN 02/22/13 MY WIFE CALLED ME FROM OUR KIDS SCHOOL AND TOLD ME THAT THE CAR IS SMOKING VERY BADLY AND THE VAN JUST SHOUT DOWN .PLEASE WE NEED HELP WE LOST 2 VANS LESS THAN 6 MONTHS HELP WE HAVE NO CAR . *TR
