2017 Chevrolet Camaro

After having the car for a year with regular maintenance and service, out of nowhere car was giving electrical problems that was making my car battery die and the ABS brake system giving out completely to the point where the vehicle has no brakes at all & engine failure due to cylinder #1 no compression, car kept giving codes p0300 , C0299 , B1517 , notice there’s an service bulletin from GM NO. Pi1178F is know as a common problem for LTG engines, also the only way I found out that the engine was damaged when I took the vehicle to the dealership for diagnostic and was told that one of the Cylinders had no compression which had came down the line that an Piston ring had internally damaged my engine, vehicle has 145K and was running smoothly until sudden electrical problems.

Driving back from several trips out of state. On I15, the car shut completely off, while moving. Everything powers off. Car still in motion. Have to push the ignition button to turn back on and resume power and turned the car back on. The has happened now 5 times since i bought the car brand new in 2017. The dealer has never been able to reproduce issue. Are my charging cables for phones and ipod shorting out the car?? I dont know. It's the only thing that might be an issue.

"Shift to Park " message on my DIC, apparently this is an ongoing issue with Chevrolet and GMC models. My son was trapped in the car for 15 minutes because the lock would not release, he kept turning the car on, shifting to D and and returning to park without much success. Now he opens the door before he turns the car off which is not safe.

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated while his wife was stopped at a traffic light, the light turned green and the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The contact stated that his wife was unable to restart the vehicle. The contact stated that when he attempted to jump start the vehicle, the vehicle remained off, but the passenger’s side rear taillight illuminated, and the windshield wipers engaged independently. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after three attempts. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who diagnosed that the battery had failed. The vehicle was then taken to Connell Chevrolet (2828 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626) who diagnosed that the battery needed to be replaced. The battery was replaced, and the dealer test drove the vehicle but informed the contact that they could not duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 42,767.

THE CAR SHUT OFF AND THEN WOULDN'T START. HAD ENGINE REPLACED BECAUSE THE ENGINE WAS LOCKED UP. RECENTLY RECEIVED THE VEHICLE AND GAUGE CLUSTER SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE ALONG WITH INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. WHEN IT TURNS BACK ON SCREEN SHOWS: SERVICE STIBILLITRAC, ABS SYSTEM, BATTERY SYSTEM, ENGINE OIL LOW, ENGINE REDUCED POWER, REDUCE CLUTCH USE, AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. HAD NO POWER STEERING, NO ACCELERATION, AND HAD LOSS OF BRAKES.

I TOOK MY 2017 CHEVY CAMARO TO TOM BELL CHEVY LOCATED IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA THEY REPLACED THE SOFT TOP ON MY CAR BECAUSE OF A RECALL. WHEN I GOT HOME I NOTICED THAT THE SOFT TOP WAS MAKING NOISES WHEN IT WAS GOING UP AND AS I WAS CLOSING IT. WHEN I LOOKED TO SEE WHAT THE NOISE WAS, I SAW THAT THE ARMS THAT RAISE THE SOFT TOP UP AND DOWN WERE COMPLETELY BROKEN. I CONTACTED TOM BELL CHEVY IMMEDIATELY AND WAS TOLD TO CONTACT THE 'UPHOLSTERY GUY' WHO I'VE NEVER MET IN MY LIFE. THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL AND TOLD ME THAT THE PERSON OR COMPANY THEY USED TO REPLACE THE SOFT TOP THAT WAS RECALLED ON MY 2017 CAMARO WOULD COME TO MY HOME AND FIX THE ISSUE. IT HAS BEEN NOW MONTHS AND NO ONE HAS EVER CAME TO FIX IT NOR HAS TOM BELL CHEVY IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA CALLED ME BACK. I E LEFT VOICEMAIL AFTER VOICEMAIL, EMAILED THEM MANY TIMES AND SENT TEXTS AND CALLED THE UPHOLSTERY PEOPLE BUT NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS OR EMAILS. THE VEHICLE IS DAMAGED AND IT WAS DONE BY WHOMEVER DID THE RECALL REPLACEMENT ON THE SOFT TOP. ALSO, THE SOFT TOP THAT MY VEHICLE WAS REPLACED WITH IS NASTY, VERY VERY CHEAP MATERIAL AND WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IT FEELS LIKE THE ENTIRE CAR IS GOING TO FLIP OVER BECAUSE OF HOW THIN AND CHEAP MATERIAL THE SOFT TOP WAS REPLACED WITH. I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY SO THAT THIS ISSUE CAN GET FIXED. I WOULD HATE TO CONTACT MY ATTORNEY SO I HOPE THAT THIS GETS FIXED IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR NOW SINCE THE SOFT TOP AND CONTROL ARMS/MOTOR WERE REPLACED AND NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME AND I'M BEING IGNORED.
