The contact owns a 2025 CFMoto 300NK Motorcycle. The contact stated that while riding at an undisclosed speed, there was fluid spilling onto the contact's right leg. The motorcycle was pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway, and the contact became aware that the fuel level was lower than before. In addition, the contact noticed an abnormal odor. The motorcycle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a detached fuel line connector. The contact was not informed of the necessary repairs needed to fix the motorcycle. The contact was informed that the repair was covered under warranty. The motorcycle was not repaired. The contact sustained a burn on the lower right calf from the fuel leak. The contact received medical attention from a primary care physician. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 76.
