FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR INSIDE THE FUEL TANK, BURNED. VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED BY OWNER. *AK THE BURNED CONNECTOR AND THE WIRES ARE ABOVE GASOLINE LEVEL, AND THE OXYGEN COMING THROUGH RELIEF HOSE COULD CAUSE EXPLOSION OR FIRE. *YH
CORRODED BRAKE LINE FAILED WHILE DRIVING
ENGINE SHUT ITSELF OFF HAVING LOW ENGNE COOLANT MESSAGE ON HIGHWAY IN 70 MPH TRAFFIC. I MANAGED TO BEACH THE VEHICLE WITHOUT POWER--NO DAMGE. NORTHSTAR ENGINE ACCORDING TO MFG. IS SUPPOSED TO CONTINUE TO RUN ALTERNATING 4 CYL. TO COOL. THIS ENGINE FAILED AND SHUT DOWN CREATING SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD.
WIRE CONNECTOR BURNED OUT AT BRAKE CONNECTION INSIDE OF THE TANK. VEHICLE STOPPED RUNNING, AND FUEL PUMP WASN'T PUMPING FUEL. CONSUMER HAD TO PUT THREE FUEL PUMP SENDING UNITS. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.
BRAKE LINES CORRODED, CAUSING BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE. MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
VEHICLE STALLED DUE TO FAULTY FUEL PUMP. MOTOR DREW HIGH CURRENT & WIRE FUSE TOGETHER. DEALER WILL CHANGE FUEL PUMP. CONSUMER WILL HAVE TO COVER COST. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THERE WAS A PROBLEM. *AK
