I HAVE HAD PROBLEM WITH MY 2000 CATERA EVERY SINCE I BOUGH IT, FIRST THE SEAT WOULD NOT HEAT ,PUT THE KEY IN AND IT WOULD NOT TURN,TIRES WORE OUT IN LESS THAN A YEAR,DRIVER SIDE DOOR IS COMING A PART,GLOVE COMPARTMENT LOCK BROKEN ,BELT BROKE CAR RAN HOT HAD TO GET A NEW RADIATOR,CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON ,SECONDARY AIR INJECTION HOSE FAILURES,THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MORE TIMES THAN OUT, JUNK,AND G M DOES NOTHING TO HELP,WATER PUMP WENT OUT ,HEATER COIL HOSE LEAKING,VAULE COVER GASKET REPLACE , ALL BEFORE 60,000 MILES. *TR
THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE TIRES WORE OUT PREMATURELY. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE TIE ROD WAS BENT OUT OF SHAPE. AS A RESULT THE CONSUMER HAD TO REPLACE ALL FOUR TIRES AT 6,000 MILES. *AK THE LEFT FRONT INSIDE WIRE WAS SHOWING. *SC
CONSUMER REPLACED THE TIRES WITH THE SAME BRAND, AND THE TIRES WORE DOWN TO THE WIRE. VEHICLE WAS ALIGNED AT 6000 MILES.*AK
TIRES ARE WEARING OUT FROM INSIDE AT 6,000 MILES.*AK. HEARD NOISES AND SAW PREMATURE INNER WEARING OF TIRES. REPORTED FAILURE TO DEALER AND TIRE DISTRIBUTO WHO WERE SHOWN OLD TIRES AND NEW TIRES. NEW TIRES WERE PURCHASE AT 27, 383 MILES. *AK
THE TIRES LAST ON THIS CAR ONLY 12-20000 MI. THIS ACCORDING TO THE DEALER SERVICE MANAGER IS DUE TO A DESIGN FLAW WITHIN THE FRONT SUSPENSION.
ORGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES ARE THE INCORRECT SIZE FOR VEHICLE. ACCORDING TO DEALER VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED FOR EUROPEAN RACING. DEALER ALSO STATED THAT A DESIGN FLAW MAYBE THE CAUSE OF TIRE FAILURE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS.*AK
