AT NEARLY 83,480 MILES WHEN THE COMBO SWITCH HAD TO BE REPLACED IT WAS NOTICED THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT RACK AND PINION LEAK. I BELIEVE THE EARLIER ISSUE IS SOMEHOW CONNECTED TO EARLY FAILURE OF THE RACK AND PINION. REGARDLESS, THE TECH SAID THERE WAS A 2016 WITH 52,000 MILES ON IT THAT NEEDED TO HAVE THE RACK AND PINION REPLACED. HE ADMITTED THAT THERE IS LIKELY A FAULT IN THE PART CAUSING THEM TO DETERIORATE BEFORE THEY SHOULD.
