I HAVE OWNED 4 OF THESE BENTLEY FLYING SPURS (2006-2010) AND ALL OF THEM HAVE FOGGY WINDOWS IN THE QUARTER PANAL WINDOWS (THE SMALLER WINDOWS BEHIND THE PASSENGER DOOR WINDOWS. I HAVE OWNED 4 OF THESE BENTLEY FLYING SPURS (2006-2010) AND ALL OF THEM HAVE FOGGY WINDOWS IN THE QUARTER PANAL WINDOWS (THE SMALLER WINDOWS BEHIND THE PASSENGER DOOR WINDOWS. THEY HAVE A FOG AROUND THEM AND I CANNOT SEE OUT OF THEM AND IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND CONCERN. WHY HAS BENTLEY NEVER FIXED THIS ISSUE AND INSTALLED SUCH CHEAP GLASS? YOU CANNOT FIX THIS WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE GLASS AND REPLACING IT. I CANNOT SEE OUT OF MINE AND ENDED UP SIDE SWIPING THE CAR COMING UP ON THE SIDE OF ME. IT IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR AND DANGEROUS AND PUT MY CHILD'S LIFE IN DANGER.

08V217000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:fuel Injection System

May 15, 2008

BENTLEY IS RECALLING 13,420 MY 2004-2008 CONTINENTAL GT, CONTINENTAL GT SPEED, CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR, AND CONTINENTAL GTC VEHICLES. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR ROAD SALT TO CORRODE THE OUTER SURFACE OF THE FUEL FILTER. THIS COULD LEAD TO THE FILTER HOUSING BECOMING POROUS WITH A CORRESPONDING FUEL LEAK.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A FUEL LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER AND REPOSITION THE RETAINING CLIP ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 18, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BENTLEY AT 1-800-777-6923.

BENTLEY IS RECALLING 4 MY 2004 AND 2006 CONTINENTAL GT AND CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR VEHICLES. THE REPLACEMENT AIR BAG TRIMMED COVERS HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH TETHERS OF AN INCORRECT LENGTH.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THIS COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE AIR BAG ITSELF DURING DEPLOYMENT INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE PASSENGER'S AIR BAG COVER FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 11, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BENTLEY AT 1-800-777-6923.
