Instant hot water heater is critically exceeding the set temperature. For example, on my unit, if I set the hot water to be 95 degrees, and turn on just the hot water, the temperature will exceed 115 degrees. Leaving the setting at 95 and leaving the hot water running, if I turn on the cold water to mix with the hot in the attempt to lower the output temperature, the hot water will increase temperature to 120 degrees. If the hot water is set at 100 degrees or higher, the water will reach in excess of 134 degrees. This can cause burns on the skin.
