TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 ACURA MDX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR AUTOMATIC HATCHBACK SENSOR FAILED. THE HATCHBACK CLOSED ON THE CONTACT'S HANDS, RESULTING IN INJURIES TO THE FINGERS. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THE FAILURE TO BE A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE THE HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO STOP THE HATCHBACK FROM CLOSING WHEN IT SHUT AND SLAMMED HIS FINGERS INTO THE DOOR.
