MY 2006 YAMAHA ROADLINER HAS AN INTERMITTENT STALLING PROBLEM. THE BIKE WILL RUN FINE BUT WHEN STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT, STOP SIGN, ECT AND THE BIKE WILL STALL. THE RPM WILL START DROPPING ONCE THE CLUTCH IS PULLED IN AND IT WILL NOT STOP GOING DOWN UNTIL THE BIKE STALLS. THE ENGINE WILL DROP TO AROUND 500 RPM, FIGHT TO STAY ALIV…

MY 2006 YAMAHA ROADLINER HAS AN INTERMITTENT STALLING PROBLEM. THE BIKE WILL RUN FINE BUT WHEN STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT, STOP SIGN, ECT AND THE BIKE WILL STALL. THE RPM WILL START DROPPING ONCE THE CLUTCH IS PULLED IN AND IT WILL NOT STOP GOING DOWN UNTIL THE BIKE STALLS. THE ENGINE WILL DROP TO AROUND 500 RPM, FIGHT TO STAY ALIVE FOR A SECOND, AND THEN SHUT OFF. THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER THE BIKE WANTS TO AND I HAVE FOUND NO WAY TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THIS MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR A DEALERSHIP TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. THE BIKE WILL START BACK UP AFTER BUT YOU NEED TO KEEP THE THROTTLE TWISTED TO ABOVE 1000RPM TO KEEP IT GOING. I WAS ALMOST HIT WHEN A RED LIGHT TURNED GREEN YESTERDAY BECAUSE OF THIS STALLING PROBLEM. *TR
