AFTER RIDING YAMAHA GRIZZLY 700 FOR APX. 1 HOUR IN MOUNTAINS, WITH 2000 FOOT ELEVATION CHANGES, WENT TO GAS STATION TO FILL UP. WHEN I REMOVED THE SCREW OFF FUEL COVER,L GASOLINE SPRAYED OUT. TANK HAD BEEN FILLED PRIOR TO THE RIDE, AFTER CLEANING MY SELF UP 3.2 GALLONS WERE REQUIRED TO FILL. SPRAYING ME IN THE FACE AND STRAIGHT UP. BASED ON MY RIDE TIME I WOULD HAVE TO GUESS A GALLON SPRAYED OUT. STRANGERS AT THE GAS STATION WASHED MY EYES OUT WITH WATER AS I COULD NOT SEE. LUCKILY THERE WAS NOT A FIRE AND OTHER THAN RUINING MY PLASTIC LENS IN MY GLASSES ALL ENDED WELL. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN VERY SERIOUS FOR ME AND THE PUBLIC AT THE GAS STATION. *TR
