TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 YAMAHA FJR13 MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH MAKING A LEFT TURN THE ENTIRE REAR BOTTOM OF THE FUEL TANK WAS COVERED WITH RUST WHERE THE FUEL STARTED TO LEAK. THE DEALER WAS INFORMED ABOUT THE FAILURE AND THEY STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS RE…

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 YAMAHA FJR13 MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH MAKING A LEFT TURN THE ENTIRE REAR BOTTOM OF THE FUEL TANK WAS COVERED WITH RUST WHERE THE FUEL STARTED TO LEAK. THE DEALER WAS INFORMED ABOUT THE FAILURE AND THEY STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS REPAIRED PER THE WARRANTY. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE CAM CHAIN WHICH HAS FAILED THREE TIMES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER REPLACED THE CAM CHAIN SINCE IT HAD WORN OUT PREMATURELY. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 52000.
