About a month ago I saw paint flaking off from about the front windscreen where the sunroof meets the body about quarter sized. The paint appeared not to hold to the body of the vehicle even though the primer was applied. A month later it's about the size of 2 credit cards and definitely the primer on the vehicle is not holding the paint and is a manufacturer defect. I reported this to the dealer but they said it's out of warrenty. Other owners with this vehicle reported the same flaking from the same area on online forums and on the news. I would like the manufacturer to fix this before rusting happens on the body of the car and more serious issues occur. It is definitely a defect with the primer or paint, I never got hit by any object while driving nor saw any paint damage prior to this when I purchased the car.

Car dies/stalls while in drive when adaptive is engaged. Entertainment / navigation system has quit working despite multiple times I’ve reset. Acceleration is dangerous at times and accelerates too quickly. Also seems to be sluggish due to fuel injector issues requiring me to press gas pedal harder to maintain speed. Windows don’t always respond to button and seem to stall. Check engine light keeps coming on despite being cleared . I only have 28,000 miles.

It’s happened 2x in owning the 22 Vw Taos. The car will start be good for about 5 seconds, then car shakes like the engines misfiring, check engine light flashes, steering does become locked a little and difficult. Once you start up again it’s fine. Happened in Nov 2024 and today 3/8/2024

The radiator was broken due to a rock hitting it while simply driving down the road out of town and wasn’t covered by warranty. My engine started overheating and has been overheating every now and then ever since now due to coolant leaking because of a head gasket leak. Oh and that’s not covered by warranty now either.

Driving uphill on the highway at 80 mph with cruise control on. I then turned the cruise control off. Vehicle lost complete engine power and could no longer accelerate. All the warning lights came on, vehicle displayed “max rpm 4000x” with little speed left on vehicle I was able to move to the shoulder of highway and park. The vehicle displayed EPC light and “Please start engine manually” after several minutes I restarted vehicle it did start but it was delayed. I resumed my commute and after getting off the highway I came to a complete stop at the stop sign and when I accelerated the vehicle felt like the brakes got slammed on and it jerked, while a vehicle was following close behind me. Extreme safety hazard
