TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 VICTORY CROSS COUNTRY TOUR. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE MOTORCYCLE BEGAN TO HESITATE AND THE ENGINE TURNED OFF; HOWEVER, THE LIGHTING REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE SHOWED A QUARTER OF A TANK OF FUEL REMAINING. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO ROW THE MOTORCYCLE TO A FUEL STATION AND ADDED 5.74 GALLONS OF FUEL. THE CONTACT CALLED INDIAN MOTORCYCLE OF EL CAJON (LOCATED AT 345 N MAGNOLIA AVE, EL CAJON, CA 92020, (619) 328-1901) AND NOTIFIED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SAME FAILURE PREVIOUSLY OCCURRED AND THE SENDER UNIT WAS REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED BECAUSE INDIAN MOTORCYCLE EL CAJON SAID " THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM FOR YEARS AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT." THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000. *TR*JB
