2025 Toyota Sienna Hybrid

After very minor rainfall, my rear backup camera was not usable as water was dripping off of the edge of the door handle trim and it was getting on the lens. This is a complete design problem as there should be a drip edge. You made it very difficult to properly pull up at a gas station pump and I was unable to get close to the pump because of how the lens was obscured by the water drops.

Outer rear-view mirror on the driver side exhibits a vibration/shaking of the image. It is obvious and continuous vibration is observed typically on highway speeds of approximately 60mph or higher and lower speeds it is evident driving over slight bumps, concrete/asphalt road surfaces or bridges. Looking at the shaking image cause dizziness and it is even worse in night time with headlights from vehicles coming behind. It is annoyance to the point that makes you feel not to use the rear-view which can potentially put the vehicle and others in danger. Passenger side doesn't vibrate and makes it easy to notice the issue. Dealer inspected the mirror and said manufacturing issue and replaced it under warranty with no success is fixing underlying vibration issue. On the second visit, dealer denies the problem and says the mirror is replaced and operates according to toyota specification (it feels to us they do not care about the functionality). According to dealer they will do anything further only if Toyota release a TSB on this particular issue.

The drivers side exterior mirror shakes. This occurs during all driving, most notably over bumpy roads and at highway speeds. The passenger side mirror does not have this problem. Because of the shaking, it is distracting when driving as it appears there is movement in the mirror. Additionally, it causes a distortion from the constant movement. The vehicle was purchased in June 2025 and has occurred since day 1. The vehicle was in the dealer on 9/30/25 and noted the issue, stating there is nothing physically wrong with the mirror but did agree with the assessment. They said this is common on vehicles (they see the complaint a lot) but Toyota has not acknowledged it so there is no fix and appears to be a manufacturing defect.

The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the sunroof glass shattered. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 275.

When i am driving from high speed and trying to use my brakes, the whole rear car will start shaking around 48/45 miles per hour , I can hear our car seat from our baby how it makes vibrating noises and i can see my both door mirrors they're shaking too, and when it drops to 40mil per hour the shaking goes away. Went to the local Toyota dealer 3 times and they're saying that's normal. Very disappointed with a brand new car. We have another new car and doesn't do that for sure... Called Toyota national, open a case and they're saying, mechanic can't find anything wrong. They should drive this car for a longer distance and they will know for sure what I am talking about.

The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Sienna Hybrid. The contact stated that the rear liftgate appeared to show a design flaw, and the left and right sides of the liftgate appeared to be misaligned. The contact stated that the liftgate door was difficult to open manually or electronically. Several dealers were made aware of the failure on several occasions, but were not offered any assistance. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who acknowledged the failure. The independent mechanic stated that the entire back panel was warped and that the door hinges were misaligned. The manufacturer was notified of the failure on three separate occasions but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000. The VIN was not available.

Driver side passenger 2 nd row seat belt stopped working. Won't clip as needed leaving us unable to use seat. This is a safety issue as we are not able to use the seat as needed as one is not able to strap in. This triggers the sensor and this a driving violation. Problem has been reported. Vehicle has been reported and still pending to be replaced. Unkown when issue can be resolved. Passenger seat on the second row was stuck upon purchase. Dealer made aware. they claimed a sock was stuck on railing which was not possible as issue was reported before they could schedule for vehicle to be inspected. Such sock did not exist when incident was reported. Sock was not purchased until day before taking vehicle to schedule appointment. Tension is still there but agency said it is working properly.

Wobbling vibration on exterior mirror, driver side. It looks like incoming vehicles shake sideways. This happens on any bumpy road and it is easier to observe at highway speeds. Also, every time I close the door, mirror shakes as it its loosely attached. Driverside mirror has too much play and shakes. There is no issue with play and shakes with passenger side mirror. Purchased on [XXX] Vehicle is available for inspection. The distorted image resulting from mirror wobbling affects driver's awareness of surroundings, visibility gets worse at nights/rain due to blurred lights. This can lead to an accident. My intuition when I first noticed was going to be a cold break, but I realized that it was the mirror wobbling causing it. The car coming behind was far enough and I was able to react. Summary of actions and requests to Toyota: I went to my dealership Crestmont Toyota, Pompton Plains, NJ and they have confirmed the play and wobble issue, however, they said it's the same thing with other 3 Sienna's they had on LOT. Dealership informed that this is how its manufactured and they can't do anything until TOYOTA issues a recall for this problem. First occurrence: Day one, driving back from the dealership.
