THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO A DEALER AND THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT FUEL WAS STUCK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 430...UPDATED 09-15-14 *BF.. UPDATED 10/06/14 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE FUEL REPORTING SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONED DUE TO AN UN-BALANCED FUEL LEVEL CONDITION. THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO OCCUR AT THE HIGHEST FREQUENCY WHEN ADDING SMALL AMOUNTS OF FUEL INTO A PARTIALLY FILLED FUEL TANK. THE CONSUMER STATED HE ADDED FUEL, AND THE NEEDLE DID NOT MOVE.
