ON TWO SEPARTE OCCASIONS OVER THE PAST 18 MONTHS, I HAVE EXPERIENCED TIRE FAILURE (BLOW-OUTS) WITH THE FIRESTONE FR680 (DOT W2RWAKTXXX) TIRES DUE TO TREAD DELAMINATION SIMILAR TO THE PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED WITH THE FIRESTONE ATX, ATX II, AND WILDERNESS AT TIRES. THE TREAD SURFACE DELAMINATED AT THE STEEL BELT LAYER, CAUSING CATOSTROPHIC FAILURE. PLEASE CHECK INTO SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THE FIRESTONE FR680 TIRES, AND REPORT FINDINGS.
