The engineering and structural integrity of 80%+ of the thousands of Thor Magnitudes /Omnis produced from 2019 through 2023 are extremely questionable from a safety perspective. Thor Motor Coach, Inc. takes no responsibility for this, but the front caps of these motorhomes are separating from the rest of the coach. Thor refuses to issue a recall or further to cover a proper repair for this significant manufacturer defect. Thor will not even acknowledge that this is a structural issue due to faulty workmanship. The length, quality and quantity of the screws used have significantly contributed to this potentially fatal issue. There is not enough support in the extremely large and heavy overhead cab to ensure that it remains attached when driving on roads of various quality. There is also significant flex in the sleeping accommodation EXTENSION above the cab when driving that will also contribute to potential life, health and safety concerns. We encourage the NHTSA to take action in checking into this matter immediately; requiring THOR MOTOR COACH to make an immediate and thorough recall for these vehicles with regard to the flexing of the lengthy and heavy overhead sleeping area they have "engineered" for these motorhomes. The front cap must be structurally reinforced, properly constructed and secured to the chassis. As they are being currently manufactured, these vehicles are considered unsafe to be operated at any speed. Motorhomes have a much higher significance in comparison to other RVs as they are motorized and driven vs. a travel trailer, which is pulled behind another vehicle. Encourage NHTSA to create a separate category for these RVs and hold their manufacturers closer to automotive industry standards. Thank you!
