2002 SUZUKI INTRUDER VL1500 - THE FUEL TANK HAS DEVELOPED A STRESS FRACTURE OR CRACK ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE TANK. SPECIFICALLY IT IS LOCATED ON THE RIGHT HAND MOUNTING FLANGE STARTING IN THE VICINITY OF THE RIGHT FRONT MOUNTING BOLT. THE CRACK EXTENDS FORWARD APPROXIMATELY 2" AND "LOOKS" LIKE A FINE SCRATCH IN THE BLACK PAINT. ON FURTHER INSPECTION THE CRACK WILL OPEN OR FLEX AND FUEL LEAKS THROUGH THE CRACK BY PRESSING DOWNWARD ON THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK. FUEL ALSO LEAKS THROUGH THE CRACK WHEN THE TANK IS HALF FULL OR MORE WITH FUEL. THE DRIVER SEAT PAN RESTS DIRECTLY ON TOP OF THE FUEL TANK AND THE CRACK IS ON THE SAME SIDE AND DIRECTLY ABOVE THE EXHAUST SYSTEM.*AK
