CPSC#10270493A. 2011 SUZUKI GSX1250FA. CONSUMER STATED HIS MOTORCYCLE HAS RECENTLY EXPERIENCED A SERIOUS LIFE THREATENING CONDITION OF 4TH GEAR ENGINE STALL CUT OFF AFTER LONG TERM (EIGHT PLUS HOURS) HIGH AMBIENT TEMPERATURE EXPOSURE. *LN THE CONSUMER STATED HE TRIED TO RE-START THE MOTORCYCLE, BUT TO NO AVAIL. AFTER TURNING OFF THE IGNITION SWITCH, HE WAITED A FEW MINUTES AND IT FINALLY, BUT VERY RELUCTANTLY STARTED. HE PROCEEDED BACK ONTO THE HIGHWAY, ONLY TO EXPERIENCE THE ENGINE STALL, FOR SECOND TIME AS HE WAS SHIFTING THROUGH THE GEARS. WHEN THE CONSUMER ARRIVER HOME, HE WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM WITH THE MOTORCYCLE ON THE CENTER STAND, AS SHIFTING INTO 4TH GEAR, THE ENGINE WOULD STALL. THE CONSUMER RODE THE MOTORCYCLE TO THE DEALER IN 3RD AND DID NOT EXPERIENCING ANY STALLING ISSUES. A DIAGNOSIS REVEALED NO PROBLEMS WITH THE MOTORCYCLE AND THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED BY A SUZUKI FACTORY TECHNICIAN, THE BIKE WAS PERFORMING AS DESIGNED. DESPITE THE FACT, THAT A TECHNICIAN AT THE DEALER EXPERIENCED THE STALLING FIRST HAND.
