THE VEHICLE DRIFTED OFF THE ROAD, DOWN A STEEP EMBANKMENT, AND THEN CRASHED INTO TWO TREES. THE OCCUPANTS WERE THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SUZUKI KING QUAD 450 (NA). ON JULY 14, 2007, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WHILE ROUNDING A CURB. THE VEHICLE DRIFTED OFF THE ROAD, DOWN A STEEP EMBANKMENT, AND THEN CRASHED INTO TWO TREES. THE OCCUPANTS WERE THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE. THE FOUR WHEELER CONTINUED MOVING UNTIL IT CRASHED HEAD ON WITH ANOTHER TREE. BOTH OCCUPANTS WERE KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS. THEY WERE AIR LIFTED TO AN AREA HOSPITAL AND TREATED FOR THEIR INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. ON NOVEMBER 30, 2007, THEY RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH STATING THAT THERE WAS A DEFECT WITH THE VEHICLE, WHICH MAY CAUSE IT TO FAIL. THE RECALL NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.
