I WAS ATTEMPTING TO PARK WHEN I HEARD THIS AWFUL NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE APPEAR TO TAKE ON A MIND OF ITS OWN, NOT RESPONDING EVEN THOUGH I FLOORED THE BRAKE PEDAL. FORTUNATELY I WAS PARKING AND WAS STOPPED BY THE PROTECTIVE POSTS OF A FIRE-HYDRANT. I HAD TO BE TAKEN TO THE EMERGENY ROOM FOR ATTENTION. WHILE I DID NOT SUSTATIN ANY BROKEN LIMBS, I SUFFERED EXTREME LOWER BACK AND KNEE PAIN; MY LEFT SIDE ESPECIALLY SHOULDER SIDE AND BASE OF NECK IN ADDITION TO PAIN IN THE BRAKING FOOT AND LEG AND BURNS FROM THE SEATBELT.*AK
