The cargo/ hatch lift no longer opens/lifts the hatch to make the cargo space available for use. I didn't notice any warnings or flashing lights to let me know it was failing. One day while putting groceries in the cargo space, the hatch came down across my back pining me between the hatch door and the rear vehicle frame while I was. reaching the groceries inside the cargo area. A man who was passing by helped me get free. After that the life no longer went up automatically at the push of a button. At first it made a whinning noise and unlocked but would not go up. Then it made no noise at all and has not worked since. It has not been inspected by the dealer. I am checking for recalls to see if this is a problem others are having. My vehicle is a 2016 Nissan Rogue SL It has been approximatly 3 months. I have been accessing the cargo space through the rear driver side door.

Traveling approximately 30 mph, suddenly appears Red triangle with a Warning ....Not Available ....System Malfunction, and a yellow illuminated object on the speedometer on the instrument panel of the car. The Warning sign remains on until vehicle turned off, once vehicle is restarted and you get to approximately 30 mph, the warning light reappear. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership multiple times since Sept/ Oct 2021. All I know is whatever the service dept at the dealership does to remove warning, the warning sign always return. I am thinking it take more than resetting computer in vehicle to repair vehicle. The photos I am submitting has approximately 12k miles, you will notice the warning sign is on them as well.

2014 Nissan Rogue 103,600 miles, was running errands on my lunch break, made first stop and as I was pulling forward to a stop sign, vehicle lurched forward, hard jerk like motion, felt as if I was rear ended. Drove vehicle a mile further, stopped the vehicle turned off the engine went into a store, upon return vehicle started immediately, however upon putting the vehicle in drive or reverse, vehicle immediately stalled. Attempted same action a few times, same result. Check engine light would illuminate when vehicle would stall. No prior warnings, no prior issues. Vehicle towed to dealer, dealer advises torque converter issue, and a new transmission will be needed. Thank you Nissan, after years of battery drain issues and replacing the battery several times in few years & no resolve to that, this is what I get, can't say I'm surprised. Lets not forget the 2016 recall for the fuel pump issue that left me in my vehicle stalled out several times in rush hour traffic, unable to move the vehicle, & that was after the recall was "taken care of". Have read many horror stories now, and I'm convinced Nissan is selling junk to everyone, and they know it. The class actions are doing nothing to keep them from selling faulty vehicles. They were forced to stand behind their product for up to 120K miles up to year 2013 but after 2013 they're forced into a not so generous 84K miles extension. They claim their vehicles last up to 180K miles, but won't stand behind that claim. BOGUS! Will never buy another Nissan again!

The contact later noticed that the carpet was soaked and that the water stains had extended from the headliner to the interior door liner. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised the contact to vacuum the water out of the carpet. The contact vacuumed the carpet however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that while driving in the rain, water was leaking from the ceiling onto the front driver's and passenger's seats, the front driver's door, and the front passenger's door. The contact stated that the failure had caused mold to develop on the carpet and on some other parts inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who informed the contact that the carpet would be replaced at her own expense. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the front driver's power seat was inoperative and she had smelled a burning odor. The contact received the notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. My window on passenger side will roll down but not back up. The fuses are fine and i swapped out the switch panel, still doesn't work. From researching it seems that the master switch on drivers side window affects this. I've brought it to the Nissan dealer in Burns Harbor, IN and they first tried to tell me there wasnt a recall. I then saw on carfax that there was so I called back and then they said there was a recall but no remedy. This has been going on for 3 months that I continue to call Nissan and customer affairs etc. I have to pay to get it fixed because I have no other car and I transport my paralyzed daughter. This is ridiculous!!
