The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair, and the dealer only applied white lithium grease to the electrical connectors. The contact stated that the dealer refused to replace the wiring harness connector and informed the contact that it was not necessary. The contact stated that after the recall repair was performed, the vehicle failed to start. The contact replaced the battery. The vehicle later lost motive power while driving. The contact pushed the vehicle to the side of the road, and the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who replaced the alternator; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the ABS wiring harness, ABS control module, and wheel speed sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 51,000.

at about 45,000 miles i noticed my passenger door lock intermittently not responding the lock and unlock from the key fob and button on the drivers door. had i not noticed this could cause a dangerous situation safety wise. i took it to dealer said actuator is not working all the time. at that point i declined to fix it as i do not utilize that door often but now at about 63,000 miles it is not working at all unless i physically lock and unlock the door with the inner lock switch on the passenger door. rest of doors work fine this should not be killing off already. *do not recall the official first date i noticed that but if needed i can ask the dealer so below date is an estimate

The harness that controls the lift gate is malfunctioning. It’s an issue from the previous recall that has reproduced results. The only way to fix it is to disconnect and connect the safety pins by the foot panel on the drivers side door. Over time it has progressively gotten worse to the point that anytime it opens, it’ll need to be disconnected and then connected before the next time you use it. Also one time it stopped working when the lift gate was open and would not let you close the lift gate.

Twice while driving my Rogue it has gone into a limp mode. First time car was towed to Ted Russell Nissan and they found no code for problem ,an update was installed. Second time I drove car to same dealership and again no code was found. The have now had my car for 8 days and can’t get car to duplicate problem. I have to take grandchildren to daycare and pick them up. Both times the problem occurred I had just dropped off 1 year old. My safety was impacted because of the amount of traffic in the hours of dropping off and picking them up. The only ones who have checked vehicle is the dealership. There were no warning or any indication it was going to happen. The first date was [XXX] and the second was [XXX]. Car is still in shop.
