What owners actually said
129 reportsTHIS IS THE 2ND NISSAN PICKUP TRUCK THAT I HAVE OWNED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAS GONE OUT. THERE IS NO REVERSE OR 2ND GEAR. *AK
AROUND 35 MPH, THE SPEEDOMETER'S NEEDLE MOVES FROM 0 TO 100 MPH UNTIL IT GETS TO ABOUT 40 MPH. WHILE IT IS MOVING, IT MAKES A STRANGE NOISE. ALSO, THE NEEDLE SOMETIMES MOVES OVER TO 100 MPH AND STAYS FOR A FEW SECONDS, NO MATTER THE SPEED OF THE TRUCK. IT IS DIFFICULT TO DETERMINE THE SPEED THE VEHICLE IS TRAVELING.
I HAVE REPLACED THE LAMP SEVERAL TIMES. IN ADDITION, I HAVE RECEIVED 2 WARNINGS ABOUT THE TAIL LIGHT BEING OUT. THE LOCAL GARAGE SAIS THAT IT SEEMS TO BE EITHER A BAD LAMP SOCKET OR WIRING PROBLEM.
KEY CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN GEAR. DEALER HAS NOT BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
NO SUMMARY.
WHEN DRIVING AT 25 TO 30 MPH APPLY BRAKES, AND BRAKES WENT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOORBOARD. VEHICLE ACCELERATED AND OVER TURNED INTO A FIELD. *AK
WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED THEY SQUEAK. CALIPERS ARE GOING INTO THE BRAKE DRUM. DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION ON TWO OCCASIONS, ONE INCIDENT RESULTING IN VEHICLE COLLISION.
ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP CONTINUES TO FUNCTION AFTER IGNITION KEY IS TURNED OFF.
