BCI Malfunction light will occasionally come on and dealer unable to explain why and when they have its led to brake swich. Twice in two years this has also led to them replacing the Brake switch in under 40K miles. now at 53 k miles brake switch is causing issues for the third time.
I have had this issue more than 5 times. When I am driving my breaks will lock up like it detects something in the road. I have had cars stop and almost rear end me multiple times. It happens at speeds higher than 20. I am very worried for my safety and my children’s safety in this vehicle.

My car has had to be repaired three times because of a BCI malfunction. This is a part the is controlled by the brake pedal. The car will not crank and the ACC issues occur. When the BCI malfunction occurs, the car will refuse to start, will malfunction while you are driving and the car loses the ability to break and/or control the speed. I have had the part replaced three times and it continues to act up. Nissan is aware of this issue because I had a 2019 armada that did the same thing. I have had the vehicle repaired three times. The part/repair will last 12-13 months or 18-20,000 miles before malfunctioning again. I have multiple videos of the car doing this. I have serviced at the dealership. I spoke with two different dealerships and the service managers both stated that they have never seen this part have to be repaired so much and don't know why it is not lasting. This vehicle has become a safety hazard to me, my children, and others on the road. I have contacted Nissan about repurchasing this vehicle. They said I do not meet the GA Lemon Laws and in fact, I do meet the requirements. At this point, I have started making videos of the malfunctions in the hope that if/when something happens to me, my family has the documentation needed to show that Nissan is at fault for this safety concern and they are aware of this because it also happened on my 2019 Armada.
