THE SECOND VEHICLE WAS REFUSED WARRANTY AS IT WAS MORE THAN TWO YEARS OLD. THE WARRANTY PERIOD WAS ADVERTISED AS THREE YEARS. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. THE HOSES SUPPLYING OIL FROM THE ENGINE TO THE OIL RADIATOR AND BACK TO THE ENGINE CAN SEPARATE AT THE FITTINGS. A LEAK CAN DEVELOP AND OIL CAN GET ON THE TIRES OF THE MOTORCYCLE.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: OIL ON THE TIRES CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL REPLACEMENT OIL RADIATOR HOSES OF IMPROVED DESIGN AND MATERIALS.
