WHILE DRIVING, THE DRIVESHAFT SHEARED OFF AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM BEHIND. NO INJURIES REPORTED. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER. THE CONSUMER HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE DRIVESHAFT. CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFAC…

WHILE DRIVING, THE DRIVESHAFT SHEARED OFF AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM BEHIND. NO INJURIES REPORTED. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER. THE CONSUMER HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE DRIVESHAFT. CONSUMER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER FOR THIS PROBLEM, BUT IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. *AK WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICED, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE UNIVERSAL JOINT AT THE END OF THE DRIVESHAFT FAILED.
