FAN BELT SLIPS, DEALER FIX AND IT STILL SLIPS- READ IN NEWSPAPER WHERE THIS IS A COMMOM PROBLEM FOR THIS YEAR AND MAKE DUE TO IMPROPERLY TIGHTEN CRANK SHAFT PULLY. WANTED TO ADD MY INPUT TO THIS PROBLEM AS IT SAID THAT THERE COULD BE A POSSIBLE RECALL FOR THIS. ALSO, ENGINE HAS A TENDENCE TO SURGE AS YOU ARE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.
CONSUMER HAD TRANSMISSION TESTED & IT CAME UP ON THE DIAGNOSTIC READING THAT VEHICLE DOESN'T TAKE 3RD & 4TH GEAR. FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE VEHICLE WILL SKIP & FALL INTO NEUTRAL. DEALER COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG.*AK
