The JBE (junction box electronics) has failed. This has caused the fuel pump to stop responding. I'm not sure if my mechanic still has the original part. It did this in the street after backing out of the driveway. It could have been deadly had it happened on the interstate at 70mph. The unit has been inspected by a third party electronics repair shop and cannot be repaired. There were no warnings until it stopped working in the street. Vehicle has not been repaired, because available parts are diverted first to warrantied vehicles.

PURCHASED USED SUMMER 2018. IN FALL OF 2018, FRONT DRIVER-SIDE DOOR LATCH MECH. FAILED, PREVENTING DOOR FROM CLOSING. MECH WAS REPLACED BY DEALER. WINTER OF 2018 THE DRIVER-SIDE REAR AND PASSENGER-SIDE REAR LATCH MECHS FAILED. AGAIN, DOORS CANNOT BE SECURED WHEN THE MECH FAILS. DEALER REPLACED BOTH REAR DOOR MECHS.. ON APRIL 7 2020, PASSENGER-SIDE FRONT MECH FAILED, PREVENTING DOOR FROM BEING SHUT. TWO COMPLAINTS: WHY SO MANY FAILURES IN THE LATCH MECHANISM, AND WHY THE FAILURE MODE RENDERS THE DOOR UNABLE TO BE CLOSED OR LATCHED. VEHICLE CAN'T EVEN BE SAFELY TOWED WITH THE DOORS DISENGAGED FROM THE NADER PIN. WE USED NYLON RATCHET STRAPS TO SECURE THE DOORS SHUT WHILE TRANSPORTING IT FOR REPAIR. FIRST THREE LOCK MECHS FAILED WHILE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY/PARKED. LAST FAILURE OR PASSENGER FRONT OCCURED AFTER VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION - LATCH DISENGAGED AND DOOR SWUNG OPEN WHILE MAKING LEFT TURN. ATTACHING FOUR IMAGES OF REMOVED FAILED LATCH MECH SHOWING MFR AND PART NO INFO
