The outer roll stop is very slow to deploy, takes minutes. You can step on it and make it go down but that is not proper. NY bus sales has looked at it numerous times and is still extremely slow. Other districts within our area have the same problem. DOT does not have a time specification that this must deploy, but that does not make it right. This is a Braun Millenium series. Braun has offered suggestions but nothing has worked.
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2026 G5 and 2024 MB II school buses built on a GM chassis and equipped with a second air conditioning compressor kit. The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A loose power cable connection may cause the control board to overheat and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Consequence: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
