VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND TURNED THE VEHICLE ON, SHIFTED GEAR INTO DRIVE, HAD FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE CAR LUNGED FORWARD AND HIT A PARKED CAR. NOBODY WAS INJURED. *AK

CABLE ON THE ACCELERATOR JAMMED CAUSING UNWANTED ACCELERATION ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, LAST INCIDENT LED TO MINOR ACCIDENT AND INJURY TO CONSUMER.

FAILURE OF THE GROMMET THAT HOLDS THE TRANSMISSION CABLE TO THE THROTTLE BODY BROKE, CAUSING TRANSMISSION TO SLIP.
BOLT HOLDING THE FRONT AND REAR DOOR LATCH ON THE LEFT SIDE VIBRATES LOOSE APPROXIMATELY EVERY 100 MILES REQUIRING TIGHTENING.

THE PARK ROD ASSEMBLY CONTAINS A PARK CAM WITH INADEQUATE SURFACE HARDNESS, WHICH COULD LEAD TO PARK DISENGAGEMENT OR NO PARK ENGAGEMENT WHEN THE LEVER IS PLACED IN PARK.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: IF PARK IS NOT ENGAGED AND THE PARKING BRAKE IS OFF, AVEHICLE ROLL-AWAY COULD RESULT.
Remedy: REPLACE PARK ROD ASSEMBLY ON AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
