THE GROMMET THAT CONNECTS ROD FROM TRANSMISSION TO FUEL SUPPLY IS MADE OUT OF PLASTIC AND IS VERY CLOSE TO THE MANIFOLD. OVER TIME IT OVERHEATS AND STARTS TO CORRODE AND CAUSES EXTENSIVE TRANSMISSION FAILURES. THE CONSUMER HAS REPLACED THE PLASTIC PART WITH METAL GROMMETS TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN.
