THE CAR CONSTANTLY STALLS UPON TURNING, DECELERATION, AND BRAKING, CAUSING NEAR TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS. CAR WAS CHECK OVER FOR MALFUNCTION, BUT TO NO AVAIL.THE REAR OF THE CAR IS SAGGING VERY BADLY, CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO REPLACE THE REAR BUMPER AND TAILPIPE. THE HEIGHT OF THE CAR FROM GROUND TO FRAME IS APPROX. 6 3/4 INCHES. THE CAR CONSTANTLY BOTTOMS OUT IN THE REAR EVEN WITHOUT A LOAD, SPRINGS HAVE BEEN REPLACED 4 TIMES AND THE CAR SAGS AFTER 3 MONTHS OR SOONER.

THE BOLTS THAT ATTACH THE D-SHAPED RING FOR THE SHOULDER BELT ARE INADEQUATELY SUPPORTED BY THE MATERIAL IN WHICH THEY ARE MOUNTED. THE ATTACHMENT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 210, "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY ANCHORAGES".

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: Not supplied

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL NEW ATTACHING HARDWARE TO IMPROVE THE STRENGTH OF THE MOUNTING.
