NHTSA Recall ID: 23V445, Fuel Pump Delivery Module How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Vehicle at risk to lose drive power, increasing the chance of crashing while operating. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No. Mercedes dealership states they will not repair recalls on the weekends only M-F. I work at the hospital M-F 0800-1700. The dealership will not make any accommodations in assisting me with my schedule to get car fixed. I recently received a notification from Mercedes-Benz concerning a safety defect in my vehicle, and to be honest, it's really concerning. The issue is with the fuel pump impeller in certain models, including mine. If this part malfunctions, it can cause the vehicle to suddenly lose power, potentially leading to accidents. Imagine driving on a highway and suddenly losing all drive power! The scariest part is that there's no immediate solution. They've informed me that the remedy isn't available yet and that they will contact me when it is. This has left me feeling unsafe every time I turn on the ignition. I'm sharing this because we might all be using our cars for trips or outings, and I believe it's crucial for everyone to be aware of the situation. I don't feel safe driving this care very time risking my life, and more over paying for damaged car Best regards, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Throughout the year, the car had many issues, the blind spot sensors and glass sensors didn't work, and it constantly showed that the stop/start system wasn't working. Twice, the car turned off by itself at a stoplight. Since everything is controlled through the car's large monitor, including the navigation, air conditioning, and all other functions, the monitor frequently shut off and it was necessary to turn it off and on again, or wait until the next day for it to work again. The scariest incident happened during a heavy rainstorm. I was driving on the road surrounded by other cars when my car suddenly stopped abruptly and began to park itself in the middle of the road. All sensors failed! The cameras were going in and out without stopping, all sensors were beeping loudly and flashing, the check engine light came on, and the blind spot sensors wouldn't turn off. I couldn't do anything with the car or control it. I turned the car off and on four times just to get it off the road. When I called Mercedes, they didn't think it was a serious problem and made me an appointment for a month later. I brought the car in, but they didn't give me any timelines or updates on what was happening with my car. I called them for five days, but they didn't even look at it. Please help me resolve the issue with my car and the dealership!

Upon starting my vehicle today the center screen did not power on. The vehicle displayed several messages indicating various safety features were unavailable, including blind spot assist, lane keeping assist, parking assist, etc. Additionally, the exterior cameras (e.g., reverse camera) were inoperable as well. Since the center screen controls the sound system and climate control system, those systems were also unavailable. I restarted the car several times but the screen remained off. I purchased this car in August 2022 and have driven it approx. 3,600 miles - this is the second time this issue has occurred. The first time happened in Sept 2022 and it resolved by itself the following day. However, I believe this problem presents a safety concern since most, if not all, of the vehicle's various safety systems are disabled when it occurs.
