TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ C230. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DECELERATE DESPITE THE CONTACT APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ C230. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DECELERATE DESPITE THE CONTACT APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED, SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE THEN RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION ELECTRICAL PLATE INTERNAL SPEED SENSOR WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED, WHICH WOULD REQUIRE THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION BEING REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
