THE DRIVER'S SIDE LOW BEAM LIGHT WENT OUT. UPON TAKING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP I WAS ADVISED IT'S NOT THE BULB ITSELF RATHER IT'S A COMPONENT WITHIN THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY WHICH IS CORRODED DUE TO THE BUILD OF OF MOISTURE WITHIN THE LAMP KIT. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM & THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN (SERVICE BULLETIN NO.: SB-09-003-13). THE DEALERSHIP STATED MAZDA WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIR AND QUOTED ME A COST IN EXCESS OF $1,000 TO REPLACE THE HEADLAMP AND RELATED PARTS. I BELIEVE MAZDA TO BE RESPONSIBLE WHEN THERE IS A KNOWN PROBLEM.
