TOOK IT TO MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE AS A LEAKING PTU (POWER TRANSFER UNIT). I'VE LOOKED INTO THIS AND THERE APPEARS TO BE A ISSUE WITH THE DESIGN ON THE SEALS. IT APPEARS TO BE A PREVALENT ISSUE WITH FORD EDGE/LINCOLN MKX THAT HAS NOT BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED/CORRECTED BY FORD.
